A completely new power plant around a Francis turbine of 920 kW
The buffer basin at level 750 in La Bresse in the Vosges meets three aims: it collects turbinate water from the power station of Blanchemer, controls the course of the Moselotte river and form the intake of the power plant of the same name realized in 2000 for the Municipal Company of Electricity of La Bresse.
A Francis turbine with horizontal axis takes 1600l/s under a head of 70m, behind a 2300 meters length pipe.
In collaboration with a civil works engineering company, we ensured the works engineering and supervision, B.P. Etudes undertaking only the mechanical parts. We moreover made the design of certain parts of the turbine for the manufacturer.
